Does anyone have a bulging disk which caused a lot of pain? If so, did you get cortizone injections and if you did how much relief from pain did you get? What has been the best pain relief?

I0 yr old sister has flank pain on her right side..It’s an achy pain, and it’s irritating her. It goes on and off, and she’s had it for about 5 days. She had her left kidney removed due to a disesase when she was small so we are concerned. What could it be?
Don’t say things like “go to the doctor” or “she will die” or “Go to the ER.”

I was in Mexico 2 weeks ago and I caught salmonella there. It all started last wednesday, the throwing up and diarrhea. I went to the ER on saturday and they did so many tests and found out I had salmonella. But what is wrong with me, is, actually, not my concern. My concern is this pain! When will it go away? I’ve had pain and diarrhea for a week and it doesn’t seem to be going away. And school starts tomorrow! Please help! And any ideas for making the pain go away will help too.

I had a lap for an ectopic pregnancy yesterday and the worst pain I’m feeling is the shoulder pain from the intraabdominal gas they use to blow up the belly during surgery. If anyone has had laparoscopic surgery and had post-op shoulder pain, how long did this last?
